Hello, I’m Alan. I’m a Plymouth photographer, and I work across Devon, Cornwall and Torbay. I specialise in first time model photography, so I focus on calm direction and clear expectations.
I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate through my work with the NHS and as a security consultant. Because of that, I keep safety, professionalism, and boundaries clear on every shoot.
I shoot relaxed, natural photos in locations across Devon, Cornwall, and Torbay. Also, I direct the session clearly and keep the pace steady, so you never feel rushed.

Safety And Boundaries For First Time Model Photography
Safety and respect sit at the centre of every photoshoot. First, we agree boundaries in plain language. Then I keep checking in as we go, so you stay in control throughout.
I only shoot lingerie and artistic nude with models aged 18 and over. Also, I require valid photo ID for any over-18 shoot, with no exceptions.
I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate through my work with the NHS and as a security consultant. For that reason, I stick to clear standards and a professional approach on every session.
You can ask questions at any point. You can also bring a trusted person, and you can stop or change direction at any time.

I run portfolio builder sessions for people starting out in modelling. First, we pick a simple plan. Then I direct you clearly and keep the pace easy, so you build professional images without pressure.
These shoots can cover fashion, lifestyle, swimwear, and other styles. However, I set over-18 sessions clearly upfront, and I only shoot what you feel comfortable with.
Confidence Builder Shoots (18+ Only)
I run Confidence Builder Shoots in Devon and Cornwall for adults who want to build confidence, self-image, and comfort in front of the camera. So I keep the session calm, private, and clearly directed.
These sessions often use low light. Also, they may include lingerie or artistic nude, but only if you choose that.
I only offer Confidence Builder Shoots to models aged 18 and over. First we agree boundaries, then we confirm exactly what the shoot includes, so nothing surprises you.
