About Me
Hello, I’m Alan. I’m a photographer based in Plymouth, Devon, and I specialise in working with people who are new to modelling.
Most of the models I work with are doing their first shoot and want a calm, supportive experience.
I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, obtained through my work with the NHS and as a security consultant.
This reflects my commitment to safety, professionalism, and clear boundaries at all times.
My work is centred around relaxed, natural photography using locations across Devon, Cornwall, and Torbay.
Every shoot is guided, unhurried, and shaped around what you are comfortable with.

Safety, Boundaries & Age Requirements
Safety and respect are central to every photoshoot.
Clear boundaries are discussed in advance, consent is ongoing, and you remain in control throughout the session.
Some types of model photography, including lingerie and artistic nude, are strictly for models aged 18 and over.
Valid photo ID is required for any over-18 shoot, with no exceptions.

Modelling in Devon & Cornwall
I’m based in Plymouth and work with first-time models across Devon, Cornwall, and Torbay.
Shoots are planned locally, using quieter outdoor locations and relaxed settings that suit beginners.
Working in the South West allows for a slower pace, less pressure, and more personal guidance than busy city studios.
Travel, locations, and comfort are always discussed in advance.
Model Portfolio Builder Sessions
Portfolio builder sessions are designed for people starting out in modelling.
Each session focuses on clear direction, relaxed pacing, and creating professional images without pressure.
These shoots are suitable for fashion, lifestyle, swimwear, and other styles, with over-18 sessions clearly defined and agreed in advance.
All sessions are planned around your comfort level and experience.
Confidence Builder Shoots (18+ Only)
My Confidence Builder Shoots in Devon and Cornwall are designed for adults who want to build confidence, self-image, and comfort in front of the camera.
These sessions are typically low light and may include lingerie or artistic nude photography.
All Confidence Builder Shoots are strictly for models aged 18 and over. Before the photoshoot, we will discuss what you are comfortable with and what you can expect from the session.
