Swimwear photoshoots in Devon & Cornwall

Swimwear photoshoots in Devon & Cornwall

Swimwear photoshoots for adults aged 18+, shot on location across Devon & Cornwall, including Plymouth and Torbay. We plan the shoot in advance, including timing and location choices. I’ll give clear direction throughout, so you know what to do in front of the camera. If you feel nervous at the start, that’s normal, and we’ll take it step by step.

What is a Swimwear photoshoot in Devon & Cornwall

A swimwear shoot works best when we keep it simple. We choose the style first, then we plan the location and outfits around it. You might want sporty and casual, a beachy summer look, or something more fashion-led. Either way, we keep it tasteful and focused.

You don’t need modelling experience. I’ll guide you through posing, angles, and small movements so you’re not left guessing. We’ll take plenty of shots, but we won’t rush it.

Locations in Devon & Cornwall, including Plymouth and Torbay

Devon & Cornwall gives us loads of options for swimwear photoshoots. Quiet beaches, rocky coves, coastal paths, and open headlands all work well. Early morning and early evening usually give the best light. They also tend to be calmer, which helps the session run smoothly.

If you’re up for it, getting in the water can really lift the photos. Wet hair, water on skin, and that fresh just-out-the-sea look adds texture and makes everything feel more real. We can keep it simple too. A few steps into the shallows, a splash at the shoreline, or sitting at the edge where the waves roll in can make a big difference.

If you want a more urban feel, Plymouth has strong backdrops near the waterfront, steps, and stonework. Torbay is great for seafront spots, harbours, and sheltered corners, especially when the wind picks up. If you tell me the vibe you want, I’ll suggest locations that fit.

What to bring and how to prep

Bring swimwear that fits well and feels secure when you move. Simple colours photograph well outdoors, but bring options if you’re unsure. Two or three sets is usually plenty.

Bring a towel, a warm layer, and shoes you can walk in. A robe, oversized hoodie, or changing poncho helps between shots. If you want quick outfit changes, we’ll plan them so they’re practical for the location and the time booked.

Keep accessories simple. Sunglasses, a shirt, or a wrap can add variety. Too many props slow things down, and you’ll lose shooting time.

Pricing, image privacy and usage

My swimwear photoshoots have two options, and we agree it all before the shoot.

The private option costs £199 and your images stay private. I won’t post them anywhere. Once you’ve received your final gallery, I delete the files from my side.

If you’re happy for me to use your images on my website and socials, the shoot gets discounted to £59.99, which is roughly 70% off. With this package we both get equal usage rights, meaning you can post and share your images wherever you like, and I can use your images for my portfolio, website, and social media.

This applies to swimwear photoshoots across Devon & Cornwall, including Plymouth and Torbay.

What you’ll get from the shoot

We’ll aim for a mix of close-up portraits, mid-length shots, and a few wider frames that show the location. I’ll keep the look consistent, but we’ll still move around enough to give you variety.

You’ll receive a minimum of 10 (usually more) fully produced, high-quality images. I’ll focus on clean edits that keep skin looking natural, without overdoing it.

Booking a swimwear photoshoot

If you’re thinking about a swimwear photoshoot in Devon & Cornwall, send me a message first. Tell me roughly where you are, the style you want, and whether you prefer coast, countryside water, or something more urban.

I arrange sessions one-to-one rather than using an automated booking system. That keeps everything clear and properly planned before we lock in a date.
