Safety, Boundaries & Age Requirements

Model photography safety, clear boundaries, and age requirements are central to how all photoshoots are run in Devon and Cornwall.

This page explains consent, safety standards, and age restrictions so you know exactly what to expect before taking part.

Model Photography Safety

I treat safety as a priority at every stage of a photoshoot.
Some locations may look dramatic or challenging on camera; however, I assess every location in advance and choose them carefully. If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, let me know and we will adjust things.

Before the shoot, we plan the session in full.
We agree locations beforehand, set clear expectations, and discuss everything in advance.

As a result, you are never rushed, pressured, or asked to make decisions on the day.
In addition, you are welcome to ask questions before, during, and after a shoot.

Boundaries and Consent

Before any photoshoot takes place, we agree clear boundaries.
This includes what will be photographed, how the session will run, and what is not part of the shoot.

Consent is ongoing.
You can change your mind, take a break, or adjust the direction of the shoot at any time.

I do not assume comfort levels, and I do not push beyond what has been agreed.
If something does not feel right, we stop and talk it through before continuing.

Everything is based on clear communication and mutual understanding. This approach to model photography safety in Devon ensures sessions are clear, respectful, and professionally run.

Age Requirements

Some types of photography are strictly for models aged 18 and over.
This includes lingerie and artistic nude photography.

Before booking, I confirm age requirements clearly.
For any over-18 shoot, you must provide valid photo ID in advance.

There are no exceptions to this rule.
If a shoot type is age-restricted, I will always make that clear before any plans are made.

What Is and Is Not Offered

Every photoshoot has a clear scope agreed in advance.
I explain what is included, what is not included, and how the session will run.

I never expect participation beyond what has been discussed beforehand.
Nothing is added on the day, and nothing changes without agreement.

If you are unsure whether a particular style or idea is appropriate, we discuss it before any booking is made.

Bringing Someone With You

You are welcome to bring a trusted person with you to a photoshoot if that makes you more comfortable.
This can be discussed in advance so expectations are clear for everyone involved.

Anyone attending a session must respect the agreed boundaries and the flow of the shoot.
Their presence should support your comfort without interfering with the session.

Professional Standards

I work to clear professional standards at all times.
This includes clear communication, agreed boundaries, and a structured approach to every session.

I hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, obtained through my work with the NHS and as a security consultant.
This reflects my commitment to trust, accountability, and working responsibly with people who are new to modelling.

Working in Devon and Cornwall

I am based in Plymouth and work locally across Devon, Cornwall, and Torbay.
All photoshoots are planned with location, access, and comfort in mind.

Working locally allows for quieter settings, clear travel arrangements, and a more practical approach to first-time modelling.
Locations are discussed in advance so you know exactly where you will be and what to expect.

If you are based in Devon or Cornwall and would like to ask a question before taking any next steps, you are welcome to get in touch.
